There's a lot of excitement surrounding the Patriots this season.
In an article penned by Greg Bedard of MMQB, he listed a bunch of problems he sees on the Patriots roster as of right now.
Despite all the issues he sees, Bedard believes the Patriots will end up in the Super Bowl.
Bedard joined Sports Tonight to explain why.
"I think a lot of the problems right now," said Bedard. "Those are things that are concerns for the early part of the season. I think the Patriots have a great track record of getting things right eventually, and they will."
"A big reason why I picked them to go to the Super Bowl this year is I think what they went through last year, and the guys they had to put in the big spots. Those guys are now pushed back into role positions, and that just makes them that much better."
Bob Neumeier wondered why Bedard doesn't consider Peyton Manning and the explosive Broncos offense as the favorites to win the Super Bowl.
"I'm about defense," explained Bedard. "I like the Patriots defense. I think when you get into the biggest games in the playoffs, it's about defense, it's not about offense."
