FOXBORO -- Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington (concussion) returned to the shells and shorts practice on Thursday at a rainy Gillette Stadium after missing Wednesday's session.

Missing in action was defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth (back), cornerback Patrick Chung (thumb), defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion), offensive lineman Sebastian Vollmer (back), and tight ends Aaron Hernandez (knee) and Dan Gronkowski (hamstring).
