Are Patriots being unfair to Welker?

There was quite the debate over Wes Welker on Felger & Mazz. Do you think that being a model citizen matters when it comes to salary?
It can be said that Welker is approachable, and might even have that model citizen status. But, should the Patriots pay for that? No they shouldn't, thats the emotional part even if it remains a factor.
