Gronkowski: ‘People act like dancing is breaking the law'

Rob Gronkowski wants you to know that his partying won't hurt his ability to play football. And who's to argue? To this point in the 26-year-old's career, it certainly seems as though the fun he has off the field hasn't precluded him from finding on-the-field success.

Gronkowski told DuJour.com recently that "letting loose" in his free time actually helps him feel better once he gets back to work.

"There’s definitely a time to party and a time to focus on work, but you need to let loose a little bit so that you can go back on Monday feeling refreshed and motivated to work hard again," he said. "People act like dancing is breaking the law and partying is a crime. Everyone thinks I’m in trouble 24/7, but what have I really done besides dance?"

The article doesn't cover much new ground when it comes to the life of the Patriots tight end, but there are a few nuggets of information -- he was inducted into the National Honor Society in high school and favored math over English; his favorite drink is "usually vodka with water because it gets you hydrated and drunk at the same time" -- in the piece and the accompanying video, in which Gronkowski is filmed running on the beach with models, swimming, and hanging out in costume as a Roman gladiator for reasons that are not explained.
