Gostkowski kicks well in warmups

INDIANAPOLIS -- New England's kicking crew hit the field with over an hour left on the pregame clock. Stephen Gostkowski first practiced with Danny Aiken at long snapper and Zoltan Mesko acting as holder. Gostkowski hit easily from the 20-yard line. The trio picked up and kept moving back.

Per usual, they switched sides of the field after maxing out inside the 50-yard line.

Backing up from the Patriots end zone, Gostkowski went wide right on a 44-yard boot. But he crushed the next from 48. His best during warm-ups? A 56-yard boom.

"If I go out there and make 90 percent of my kicks in practice, I should make 90 percent of my kicks in the game," Gostkowski said earlier in the week. "That's the kind of attitude you need to have."

They finished up with Mesko practicing punts out of the Giants end zone.
