Wilfork happy to have another Hurricane in Winslow

FOXBORO -- Vince Wilfork is happy to have Kellen Winslow Jr. in New England. Not just because he'll help fill the void left in the Aaron Hernandez injury, but because Winslow also comes from the University of Miami.

On Thursday, Wilfork called it a "reunion" with his former Hurricanes teammate.

"Another Hurricane. That's a brother," said Wilfork with a smile.

Wilfork also is excited to see Winslow's passion for the game be brought into the Patriots locker room.

"Fun guy, a very fun guy, and very competitive," said Wilfork. "I mean, that guy, he loves this game. He's very passionate about it. The main thing I like about him is, he always wants to win. So, hopefully he can help this ball club win some ball games, makes some plays for us, and put our team in a good situation. So, I know he's capable of doing that. He's just got to go out and do it. But I'm happy to have another Hurricane as part of the family."
