Wilfork: Locker, Johnson part of ‘complete offense' for Titans

FOXBORO -- Earlier in the week, Patriots coach Bill Belichick didn't just praise Jake Locker's throwing ability. He also went out of his way to point out what the Tennessee Titans quarterback could do with his legs.

While preparing for Sunday's Week 1 game in Tennessee, some key members of the Patriots' defense went out of their way to point out the same thing, while praising his throwing game at the same time.

"Well, I think he's a lot better passer than people give him credit for," Vince Wilfork said before Thursday's practice at Gillette Stadium. "He definitely can run the ball a little bit. So, we have our hands full."

Whether it's throwing or running, Locker's young presence under center is just one piece of what Wilfork calls a "complete offense" in Tennessee.

"Chris Johnson is probably one of the best backs in the league," said Wilfork. "He can hurt you anywhere, in the passing and the running game.

"And their offensive line has been playing well together. So, I think they have a complete offense. And we're going to have our hands full, no question about it."
