FOXBORO -- Bill Belichick had it right Wednesday.
"Looks like we got the perfect day to work on Seattle out there."
New England took to practice on a cold, rainy afternoon. Players wore shorts (many in pants, actually) and shells on the field behind Gillette Stadium.
Missing in action: Safety Steve Gregory (hip), wide receiver Julian Edelman (hand), tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (concussion), and linebacker Tracy White (foot).
White was injured Sunday in the third quarter of New England's 31-21 win over Denver.
Offensive lineman Sebastian Vollmer left the same game in the fourth quarter with a knee injury, but was present at the start of Wednesday practice.
