Welcome to Sun Life Stadium for Patriots-Dolphins!

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Hello from Sun Life Stadium!
Is it even necessary to say it's a beautiful day here in Miami? Might as well. The temperature, less than three hours before New England and the Dolphins kick off, is 78 degrees. Humidity is expected to climb from 59 to 65 percent during the game. Wind could be a factor in the kicking game, as 14 mile-per-hour gusts are already kicking up the stadium's flags and banners.
Receiver Julian Edelman, who left last Thursday's Jets game with a concussion, hit the field early to get loose. Edelman caught a few passes from a trainer and ran around a bit before heading back to the tunnel.
Otherwise, Danny Woodhead and Ryan Mallett were the only Patriots outside before 10:45; most of the players warming up exceptionally were Dolphins.
When this thing gets rolling, 8-3 New England will look to clinch its ninth AFC East championship in 10 years while the 5-6 Dolphins try to keep their 2012 playoff hopes alive.
