Welcome to Gillette for Patriots-Niners!

FOXBORO -- The tarp is on at Gillette Stadium.
A little more than three hours before kickoff, puddles are forming on the water-resistent cloth, which stretches from one goal post to the other. The temperature isn't (and won't be) cold enough to make Sunday night's Patriots-Niners game a snow bowl, but it feels like it should be.
The 12-mile per wind that threatens in the forecast is, so far, sporadic.
There are zero players to be seen.
Thanks to the tarp, neither Patriots nor Niners can warm up too early. And the grounds crew isn't even on the field, much less making any move to remove the tarp.
But they play football in bad weather, and tonight's game features two of the best teams in the NFL. We'll keep you updated with the latest news.
