Wahlberg banned from watching Super Bowl at home

Mark Wahlberg likes his Boston sports teams. He might even like them almost as much as he likes the truckloads of money his movie Ted raked in this weekend.

But apparently his emotions got the best of him last February when the Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the Giants.

According to WENN.com, Wahlberg said that after the game he kicked his friends out of his house and then yelled at his wife when she told him to calm down.

She was so upset I wasnt able to make it up to her until Valentines Day, Wahlberg said. She said, You know, youre never watching the game again at home, but now she just hopes that the Patriots make it back to the Super Bowl so she can go on, like, a week vacation.

Wahlberg is confident he won't have a similar outburst next winter, though. He's talked it over with his buddy Tom Brady, and he's confident the Patriots will walk away with the Lombardi Trophy in seven months.

He came to visit me . . . and Tom feels, like, theyre gonna win this year, Wahlberg said.
