Vereen, Shiancoe still missing from practice

FOXBORO -- The Patriots buckled down on Wednesday for the team's upcoming tilt against Tennessee.
New England had a full-pads practice under overcast skies. As on Monday, TE Visanthe Shiancoe and RB Shane Vereen were missing in action. OL Nick McDonald is still doing rehab work in shorts.
It was a good sign for the secondary to see Patrick Chung had shed his red no-contact jersey.
There was a new No. 19 on the field. WR Sam Kirkland was cut from the practice squad this morning and the Patriots (quickly) brought Kerry Taylor back in to replace him, according to the Boston Globe.
New TE Michael Hoomanawanui is wearing No. 47.
