Two seasons ago the Patriots annihilated the Jets in the regular season only to lose to them in the postseason that same year.
Can the same happen again this year at the hands of the Texans? Maybe. But Troy Brown, who joined Sports Tonight, thinks that because this is a different team with more experienced players now, it won't happen.
"You talk about the players, I think they have now some players like Jerod Mayo who have been around the block a few times now, some leadership on that defense, Vince Wilfork is still there," Brown said. "So they have some guys now that can lead this defense and know what they have to do to get things done in the playoffs not just show up out there and get spanked like they did."
