Texans coach Kubiak: CB Joseph heading in right direction

Houston Texans coach Gary Kubiak sounded optimistic about cornerback Johnathan Joseph's hamstring and groin injuries, in a conference call on Thursday morning.

Joseph has missed the Texans' last two games, but Kubiak expects him to return to practice on Thursday afternoon.

"He has benefited from the fact that we had an extra day here, and not playing last week," said Kubiak. "He did work out on Monday. He will be involved at practice today, probably on a limited basis. So we're heading in the right direction. But he's definitely better."
