Talib working ‘three times a day' to prepare for 49ers

FOXBORO -- Aqib Talib left Monday night's game with an apparent hip injury, but he was present at Wednesday's walkthrough and a participant in Thursday's practice, and talked about the recovery process afterwards on Thursday.

"I'm just working hard, three times a day, trying to get healthy," said Talib. "You just have to check the tape. I just remember falling onto him. I don't remember how it happened though."

Talib said it's a "day-to-day" injury, and seems ready to go on Sunday night against the San Francisco. And if Bill Belichick thinks he's healthy enough to play, Talib said he'll be fired up to do so, just like he was on Monday night against the Houston Texans.

"if you weren't fired up for Monday's game, then I don't know what to tell you," said Talib on Thursday. "I just do what coach asks me to do. I'm going to be fired up with whatever he asks me to do."
