Stallworth works out with the Pats; no contract offered

The Patriots brought back a familiar face for a workout on Tuesday, but didn't wind up signing him.

Comcast SportsNet's Mike Giardi reported Tuesday that wide receiver Donte Stallworth, who played for the Pats in 2007 and who was in camp with the team this summer, was in Foxboro. But New England, which cut Stallworth at the end of training camp, didn't offer him a contract.
