Dan Shaughnessy certainly isn't known to be the most optimistic member of the Patriots media.
He can be harsh at times.
But you won't find much criticism out of him around this time when it comes to the Patriots, because he declared them the best team in football on Sports Sunday.
"No one is any good. Here we go. It's all lining up. In the conferene you look at who's going to be in the playoffs in the AFC. They killed Denver, I know that score was closer, they killed Denver. They killed Indy; they're on the rise. Baltimore on the way down. Cincinnati, Pittsburgh huge losses today. Tomorrow we find out, they roll over these guys they're the best team."
Bob Ryan isn't so fast to agree with Shaughnessy though.
