Colts first-year head coach Chuck Pagano has been diagnosed with leukemia and will miss several games, according to reports.

The Indianapolis Star reported that Pagano, 51, was fatigued and received blood tests during the bye week. The tests revealed he had a "serious illness," which was then later specified by ESPN's Chris Mortensen as leukemia.

According to Mortensen, Pagano will have to be hospitalized for six weeks. Pagano should, however, be able to make a full recovery and return to coaching.

Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians will take over as head coach in the interim.
