At least one OTAs absence explained: Tracy White is out while recovering from sports hernia surgery.
The linebacker and special teamer had 37 combined tackles and a pass defensed in 15 games last season. According to the Boston Herald, White was actually playing through the injury toward the end of the season. The hope is he'll be ready for New England's mid-June training camp.
The team is being "cautious" in the process.
