The Washington Redskins have released former Patriots wide receiver Jabar Gaffney according to Jason Cole of Yahoo.
Gaffney lead the Redskins in receptions, yards and touchdowns in 2011, but the acquisitions of free agents Pierre Garcon and Josh Morgan along with the return of Santana Moss there was no room for Gaffney on a suddenly crowded depth chart.
