The New England Patriots are reportedly hosting veteran free agent Visanthe Shiancoe Thursday, according to NFL.com writer Steve Wyche.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end has played with both the New York Giants and the Minnesota Vikings.
During his time in Minnesota, Shiancoe's production dropped dramatically. In his first three seasons, he notched 19 touchdowns. In his last two seasons, he recorded only five.
