New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been fined for 'unnecessaryroughness' in the team's AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
He was reportedly fined 10,000 for a slide during the team's 28-13 loss to the Ravens.
In the second quarter, Brady ran the ball and slid into Baltimore's Ed Reed with his leg, kicking the safety.
Ravens Bernard Pollard was upset after the slide, calling it "bull crap."
Brady reportedly texted and talked with Reed on the phone after the game and apologized for the kick.
