Perfect attendance at Patriots practice; Connolly ‘getting better'

FOXBORO -- New England's shorts and shells practice was on the Gillette Stadium turf Friday. With the team's first home game right around the corner, it makes sense to let the players get a feel for the field.
The Patriots had perfect attendance for the second consecutive day. How much OL Dan Connolly practices -- in light of the head injury he suffered in Tennessee Sunday -- won't be revealed until later today.

Prior to practice, Patriots coach Bill Belichick gave an update, kind of, on Connolly.

"Day-to-Day," said Belichick. "Whatever his status is, we'll list it on the injury report after practice today. It seems like he's getting better."

Connolly was "limited" on Thursday.

Mary Paoletti and Danny Picard contributed to this report.
