The Patriots announced today that defensive back Malcolm Williams has been signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
The 24-year-old Williams worked with both the practice squad and the 53-man roster last season for the Patriots. He participated in two regular season games and all three post-season games for the team last season.
Williams was drafted by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL draft.
