Patriots ready for a Sandy stay in London

Some quick notes prior to Sunday's Patriots-Rams matchup in London:

In the Sunday Times preview of the game (on Page 10, incidentally), Bill Belichick was referred to as the "grumpy genius" and it was noted there's concern about the Pats' "rearguard".

The Patriots may be stranded in England by Hurricane Sandy for a day or two. They're unable to fly out tonight because Heathrow Airport closes at 11 p.m. London time, less than three hours after the game figures to end. If flights to Boston are cancelled on Monday because of the storm, the Pats would have to wait until Tuesday to fly home. Fortunately, their bye week starts Monday so a layover won't affect game preparation.
