Guard Thomas Austin, who was released by the Patriots last year and claimed by the Texans, returns. The team alsosigned wide receiver Sam Kirkland after Kirkland worked out with the Patriots on Saturday. He'd been with the WashingtonRedskins as an undrafted free agent.
