Ochocinco looks fast and furious in workout

Chad Ochocinco's shortcomings as a wide receiver for the New England Patriots have been chronicled.

But his work ethic and effort in 2011 were universally applauded, even in private by the team.

Whether he gets kismet with Tom Brady, or Josh McDaniels can pull a lever to make Ocho more successful will play out in the coming months.

But this video of Ocho working out with Steelers' receivers Antonio Brown and Mike Wallace and former Pats RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis shows that Ocho still has breathtaking suddenness and the ability to chew up space quickly in the first 10 yards off the line.

And the "out" should be the route that works for him in the Patriots offense because of that ability to get up on a corner, make the corner turn his hips and then break the route off to the outside. It was really the only route that Brady and Ocho had any success on and even then, their timing and precision was not where it needed to be.

Anywhoooo, the video is a fun time-killer and thanks to my buddy Ian Logue, the owneroperator of Patsfans.com for unearthing.
