Count Mike Felger and Tony Massarotti as two more people impressed by the Patriots showing on defense on Sunday.
Mazz noted a number of plays in the game that made him have some positive thoughts.
"And I thought, 'OK, there you go, that's what you're looking for!' When you get them into certain situations where you can bring a little heat and get some extra people in there, it'll make your pass defense at least a little better, be a little more aggressive. And so I was happy to see that at the very least defensively."
The Patriots gave up just one touchdown to the Rams, and picked off two passes too.
