The Patriots are moving on from their Week 2 loss to the Cardinals, but a couple players just got harsh reminders of moments during that game.
Jerod Mayo was fined 21,000 for his hit on Early Doucet up high in the fourth quarter. The play wasn't called a penalty, but that has no effect on a potential fine (clearly).
Mayo wasn't the only one hit with a fine, as safety Steve Gregory was also fined 7,875 for a hit he put on Todd Heap after Heap was already out of bounds. He was penalized on the play.
