Mankins among five missing at Patriots practice

FOXBORO -- New England held its first full practice of the week on an unseasonably warm Thursday afternoon and five players were missing from the start of the shorts-and-shells session: safety Steve Gregory, running back Brandon Bolden, linebacker Tracy White, guard Logan Mankins and tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Bolden left Sunday's game against Seattle because of a knee injury. He was absent from the team's walkthrough on Wednesday.White has been missing since the Patriots' Week 5 game against Denver.
Gregory, who participated in the walkthrough, has been rehabbing since hurting his hip in Buffalo.
Both Hernandez (ankle) and Mankins (calfhip) were listed as "limited" on Wednesday's participation report.
