Johnson on Pats' secondary: ‘They're a good bunch'

FOXBORO -- The New England Patriots secondary isn't the greatest secondary in football. Even Stevie Johnson knows that.

The Buffalo Bills wide receiver said just as much during a conference call on Wednesday, before the two teams meet on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

Johnson praised them for being able to make plays. But he didn't want to go too far.

"They make plays when they need to, for the most part," said Johnson. "They win games. We all know about the offense, but it still takes their defense to make plays to hold opponents off. And they've done that.

"I can't say that they're the greatest. But when it's time to play, they definitely step up and play defense when needed. They're a good bunch."
