Gronkowski only missing Patriot at Friday practice

FOXBORO -- How do you know Texans Week is a big one?
New England had 52 out of 53 players on the field for Friday practice (60 out of 61 if you include the full 'P'-squad).
Just two days after the birth of his daughter Vivian Lake, quarterback Tom Brady was with the team.
Offensive lineman Nick McDonald had also returned following a Thursday absence (shoulder).
Tight end Rob Gronkowski, who suffered a broken forearm three weeks ago, was the only Patriot missing at the shorts and shells session.
CSN's Mike Giardi already reported that guard Logan Mankins (anklecalf) and defensive end Chandler Jones (ankle) will be active for the Monday night game against Houston. Look for the week's final participation report tomorrow, as the schedule has been moved back a day.
