Gronkowski active for Sunday's game against Miami

FOXBORO --  Rob Gronkowski will be active for the Patriots regular-season finale against Miami. He's been practicing since December 14, but this is the tight end's first green light on game day.
Defensive end Jermaine Cunningham will play today for the first time since November 22. He was suspended between Week 12 and Week 12 for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

Cornerback Marquice Cole (finger), who did not practice Thursday or Friday and was listed as "doubtful" at week's end, has been ruled out. The Patriots will be even thinner at the position as Alfonzo Dennard (hamstringknee) will sit for the second consecutive contest.
Nick McDonald is also inactive Sunday. The offensive lineman was limited in practice because of shoulder injury. McDonald has missed three games this season, but just one since the bye week.
As for sidelined safety Nate Ebner, this is his first missed action of the season.
