Gronkowski, Love, Spikes missing from Wednesday walkthrough

FOXBORO -- The Patriots were missing Kyle Love, Rob Gronkowski, and Brandon Spikes at Wednesday's walkthrough.

It's good news for New England that cornerbacks Aqib Talib (hip) and Alfonzo Dennard (hamstring), both injured during Monday night's game against Houston, were at the mid-week session.
As for the three absences, at least one is obvious: Rob Gronkowski is still working to come back from the broken forearm he suffered against the Colts. Head coach Bill Belichick said only that the tight end is "day-to-day."
Spikes had "knee" added next to his name on last week's injury report. He was already listed because of a bad ankle, but has been merely limited.
It's possible Love was missing because his wife is due to give birth to their first child. The knee injury that has limited him in past weeks hasn't held him out of any games.
Deion Branch and wide receiverpunt returner Tony Logan, officially signed Wednesday, were both with the team.
