There's a lot of media personnel out there wondering if Wes Welker has suddenly fallen out of favor in the Patriots offense since he was only targeted five times on Sunday.
CSNNE.com Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran is not one of those people. In fact, he doesn't want to "live in those minds" or "in that world" of those people thinking that way.
He goes further, sarcastically asking CSNNE's Mike Giardi if Dont'a Hightower was screwing Tom Brady out of a touchdown by running in a fumble return.
The Patriots pounded it in to Welker last season because they lacked an outside threat. Now they have one in Brandon Lloyd, who will obviously take targets away and spread the ball more . . . which is the goal.
