CSNNE.com Patriots insider Tom E. Curran, with Mike Giardi, recap a tough loss for the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, in which the Pats couldn't stop Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco.

"In then end, Flacco played terrifically," Curran said.

Girardi pointed out that the Patriots couldn't mount any kind of pass rush agains the Baltimore quarterback, particularly in the second half.

"Really, Joe Flacco was incredibly efficient in the second half," Curran said. Flacco hooked up with Anquan Boldin for two of his touchdown passes in the second half and the other TD pass went to tight end Dennis Pitta.

Curran said the Patriots can look back at missed opportunities, particularly "an inability to cash in in the red zone," but it came down to an inability to stop Flacco.
