Brown: Patriots reminded me of 2001, 2003 teams

The good ole' days are back!

Not really, but Troy Brown couldn't help but compare the Patriots' offensive attack on Sunday to that of the style they played back in the early 2000's.

He said that offense works because it doesn't let the defense get set.

"Especially for the way I liked to play the game," Brown said. "I was a small ball player, get the ball, dink and dunk. Reminded of back in 2001, '03 and all those good days watching them play this type of football. Watching Wes Welker make these kind of plays."

That style of offensewhile fastisn't always the flashiest.

"We want to see all the big plays and high-flying plays," Brown said. "Patriots don't fall into that trap anymore. They go out there and do what suits them best."
