Brady, Gronkowski No. 2 of SI's top fantasy tandems

SI.com fantasy football insider David Sabino is the latest with an offseason list.

Sabino ranked the 10 best duos in the NFL. A couple of Patriots sit near the top.
2. Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, Patriots: Tom Terrific and Gronk will be hard-pressed to repeat their ridiculous 2011, in which Gronkowski became the premier tight end in the league and maybe his generation. However, the arrival of Brandon Lloyd, the maturation of Aaron Hernandez and Bill Belichick's habit of game-planning plays that defenses least expect, call for a reduction in productivity, which still should equate to a 1,000-yard, 12-TD season for Gronkowski and be a boon to Brady's yardage and TD totals.

Who did better? Another QB-TE pair: Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham.

The reasoning, Sabino writes, is ex-basketball player Graham is "still learning the position." Even then, the tight end finished 2011 just 17 yards and six touchdowns behind Gronkowski for the best TE season in league history. Also, former Saints receiver Robert Meachem is now with the Chargers, so Graham will likely get more looks.
