If you've ever hung around a high school football field late on a Friday night, you've heard the message that Bill Belichick delivered to his players before going into the bye week this week.
"I'd say the most important thing for all of us is to be careful," Belichick said in a conference call Tuesday. "Use good judgment, be careful, come back with a fresh attitude and be ready to go."
The players have one more day off before returning to work on Thursday. They'll then get a little more time off before getting back to a normal schedule on Tuesday of next week.

So what is Belichick doing with his time off (besides being careful and using good judgement, of course)? Sounds like his calendar is open.
"I'm not really sure what my plans are for this weekend," Belichick said. "I'm just taking it one day at a time here, just trying to get back and get settled and catch up on some of the things I need to do. We'll see where we are when I get to the weekend."
