Ismail: Ravens offense more consistent, potent

As we prepare for the AFC Championship, we go behind enemy lines and bring in Ravens radio color analyst Qadry Ismail to break down the Baltimore Ravens.

Perhaps more than any other team, the Ravens have looked like a totally different team in the playoffs. The team limped into the playoffs and fired their offensive coordinator late in the season.

But since Jim Caldwell took over the offense and Ray Lewis announced he would be retiring, the Ravens have rediscovered their fire.

Ismail says the Ravens have a more "consistent, potent offense."

A large part of that offense has been the deep ball.

"I think the one thing Jim Caldwell has shown is that, it's not just about taking shots, but it's about being calculated with your decisions," says Ismail.
