Bill Russell and Ray Allen will speak on Wednesday afternoon during President Obama's visit to Boston for a fundraiser at the Cyclorama, according to the Boston Globe.

This February, Obama presented Russell with the Presidential Medal of Freedom at the White House.

"Bill Russell, the man, is someone who stood up for the rights and dignity of all men," he said.

The following month, the President met with Allen, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Head Coach Doc Rivers while in Boston for a Democratic fundraising event at the Museum of Fine Arts.

Following their meeting, Allen, who had met with former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush in the past, said he was humbled."

I was amused he knew who I was, Allen said. You figure hes got bigger fish to fry, but hes following what we do.
