Kevin Bieksa didnt get hit by Peverley, said Vigneaulton Sunday at the TD Garden. He got a cheap shot in the back of the knee. Soits totally different. He went down because of something that, obviously, youdont want to see in the game.

Canucks president and general manager Mike Gillis said the team did not talk with the league about the slash.
