CSNNE.comCALGARY The Bruins will finally kick off the four-game odyssey through the Great White North with Tuesday nights game against the red-hot Calgary Flames, and will toss Tim Thomas in net after the Bs goalie sat out the last two Boston wins.Thomas had lost consecutive games in regulation for the first time all season in his previous two starts when he dropped games to the Red Wings and Maple Leafs, and was battling with the effects of a lingering head cold thats finally dissipated.Daniel Paille and Steve Kampfer werent on the ice for pregame warm-ups at the Scotiabank Saddledome, so both players are lead pipe locks to be the healthy scratches vs. the Flames.
Miikka Kiprusoff will get the nod for a Flames team coming off a whitewashing of the Montreal Canadiens in the Winter Classic, and is looking to improve on Calgarys 4-0-1 record in their last five games against the Bs at the Saddledome. The Bruins havent won a game in Calgary since October 18, 1997 when they won 3-0, and are facing a team thats taken points in 18 of their last 20 games.
