Bruins make no cuts after Tuesday scrimmage

WILMINGTON, MA There was some thought that the Bruins might make their first training camp cuts after Tuesday nights Black and Gold scrimmage at TD Garden, but the same combination of players were out on the Ristuccia Arena practice ice on Wednesday morning.

The Providence hopefuls and veteran camp invites are still mixing it up with the Black and Gold incumbents, who didnt look like they were all that worried about competition for their roster spots in this unique week-long camp.

Plenty of battle drills and 2-on-2 work in exactly the kind of hard work practice that one would expect during training camp, and nothing easy after all the players on the ice had 60 minutes of game intensity action about 16 hours ago.

No players were missing after last nights friendly between the Bruins and their Providence understudies, and it appears that the lines are exactly the same.

Maxwell on Celtics' assets: You know what Paul George and Jimmy Butler give you in NBA

Cedric Maxwell thinks it would be okay for the Boston Celtics to trade a Nets pick for either Paul George or Jimmy Butler because they're probably better now than whoever gets drafted.
