WINTER PARK, Fla. Training camp is still months away, but the Boston Celtics are anticipating it will begin without Avery Bradley available.
Bradley, who underwent surgery on his left shoulder recently, will have a similar procedure performed on his right shoulder Tuesday in Boston that's expected to keep him sidelined for the early portion of the 2012-2013 season.
Austin Ainge, the C's director of player personnel, confirmed that there was a chance that the 6-foot-2 Bradley would miss training camp and possibly the start of the 2012-2013 season.
Celtics coach Doc Rivers said that while it's still up in the air as to when Bradley will be back, he anticipates it'll be sometime between the start of training camp and December.
That reality Ainge said, is among the factors the C's are considering during the team's evaluation process of summer league players such as E'Twaun Moore.
"You have to think about that stuff," Ainge said. "You have to have enough players to play at the beginning of the season, just as important as the end. We've thought about that and talked about that plenty."
