Wednesday Red Sox-Royals Game 2 lineups: Dustin Pedroia sits

Dustin Pedroia gets the second game of the doubleheader off and Josh Rutledge, who started at third base in the opener, is at second base as the Red Sox look to avoid getting swept in the twinbill, and the three-game series, in Kansas City. 

Hanley Ramirez is back at first base (he pinch hit in the first game, a 3-2 loss), Brock Holt is in left and Christian Vazquez catches David Price (5-1, 6.00), who is opposed by Kansas City’s Edinson Volquez (4-3, 3.51) at 8:15.
