Tonight's lineups: Red Sox vs. White Sox

The Red Sox hit the road after dropping their series finale with the Royals Sunday afternoon, and head to Chicago to play another A.L. Central Division opponent.

The White Sox took three of four games at Fenway Park from July 27-30.

Right-hander Jeff Samardzija (8-9, 4.64 ERA) starts for the White Sox and righty Joe Kelly (6-6, 5.38) is on the mound for the Red Sox.

The Red Sox get Brock Holt back in the lineup after the utility man missed the last four games due to left oblique tightness. He bats 7th. Meanwhile, Pablo Sandoval continues to bat in the 2nd spot in the order. The Sox continue to rotate their right-fielders, and start Rusney Castillo there, sitting Jackie Bradley Jr.

Bradley, of course, has been on a tear as of late. He has 14 extra-base hits in his last 11 games with a plate appearance (7 2B, 3 3B, 4 HR), four more than any other major leaguer since Aug. 9. In that time, he also leads the majors in total bases (44), SLG (1.023), and OPS (1.513). But Lovullo said that as long as Hanley Ramirez is healthy, he'd get the playing time in left field over Bradley or Castillo. He also said Betts has earned consistent playing time in left field. So it looks like this is how it's going to be for Bradley and Castillo, at least for now.
