Tonight's lineups: Red Sox vs. Rays

Share

Sean McAdam advocates the Red Sox give Jackie Bradley Jr. a legitimate chance with Dustin Pedroia out of the lineup for a few weeks -- Brock Holt is moving in from the outfield to play second base in Pedroia's absence -- and maybe they're doing just that.

Bradley is making his second straight start, playing left field and batting ninth, as the Red Sox play the Rays in St. Petersburg. But the real answer will come when Hanley Ramirez returns from his bruised wrist; we'll see if Bradley goes back to the bench while journeyman Alejandro De Aza plays right when Ramirez is in left.
