Today's lineups: Red Sox vs. Marlins

Share

The Red Sox liked their outfield so much on Tuesday that they decided to trot out the same unit on Wednesday.

There are no position changes for the Sox in the second and final game of their series against the Marlins, aside from the fact that Eduardo Rodriguez will take the mound.

Jackie Bradley Jr. is in left field, Mookie Betts in center, and Rusney Castillo in right. Castillo moves up to 5th in the order, bumping Pablo Sandoval and Blake Swihart down a spot.

David Ortiz is at first base for the second straight game.

Boston lost last night in extra innings but has won six of its last 11 games. The Sox took the first two games against the Marlins on Jul. 11-12.

John Farrell, who had hernia surgery in Detroit earlier this week, is with the team in Miami and expected to manage tonight, according to reporters on the scene.
