The young Mariners lefty was brilliant, limiting the Red Sox to just five hits over eight innings, while walking two. He allowed just three baserunners to reach scoring position all afternoon.

HONORABLE MENTION: Kyle Seager

Seager had two hits, including a two-run homer in the eighth off Craig Breslow that put the game out of reach for the M's.

GOAT OF THE GAME: Hanley Ramirez

The Red Sox' cleanup hitter had a rough afternoon, going 0-for-4, making the final out in two innings and stranding two baserunners.
